The Jumbo Bass Acoustic Guitar is a handcrafted instrument designed for bass players who want a deep, natural low-end sound without relying on amplification. Built in Romania by Hora Instruments, this full-size 4-string acoustic bass guitar features a powerful Jumbo body shape that delivers strong projection, rich resonance, and a well-defined low-frequency response.

Its construction combines a solid spruce top with maple back, sides, and neck, creating a bright yet balanced acoustic tone with excellent clarity in the bass register. The Indian rosewood fingerboard ensures smooth playability, precise intonation, and a comfortable feel across the entire scale length.

With a long 864 mm scale, the Jumbo Bass provides optimal string tension for accurate articulation and stable tuning, making it suitable for both rhythm accompaniment and acoustic ensemble performance. The instrument responds well to both soft fingerstyle playing and stronger attack, maintaining clarity even in lower registers.

Carefully crafted using traditional European luthiery techniques, the Jumbo Bass reflects Hora’s long-standing expertise in acoustic instrument building. Its natural acoustic projection makes it ideal for unplugged sessions, folk bands, studio recording, and live acoustic performances where a full, organic bass sound is required.

Optional configurations allow the instrument to be fitted with a pickup system for stage amplification, further increasing its versatility while preserving its natural acoustic character.
